By Air

Jolly Grant Airport (Dehradun) is approximately 35 km away, with taxis and buses available to the city.

By Train

  • Online Booking Advantage: Book your ropeway tickets online to avoid long queues during weekends and holidays.
  • Beat the Crowd: Mornings, especially on weekdays, are less crowded.
  • Capture the Views: You can take photos and videos inside the ropeway cabin, but you must remain in your seat. Standing and the use of selfie sticks are strictly prohibited. Use your mobile camera to capture the beautiful moments.
  • 5 Kg Bag Limit: Only small handbags or backpacks up to 5 kg are allowed inside the cabin.
  • Storage Facilities: There is no cloakroom or locker facility at the ropeway stations. If you are traveling with heavy luggage, please leave it at your hotel or in your vehicle before arriving.
  • Ganga Aarti: Held twice daily at sunrise and sunset. Arrive at the ghat 30 to 45 minutes early to secure a good viewing spot, as it gets crowded.
