  • Being one of the most auspicious pilgrimages in Hinduism, the Mansa Devi temple in Uttarakhand has over millions of devotees visiting this ancient temple. Maa Mansa Devi is known as the wish-fulfilling goddess. The temple is one of the most ancient and famous Siddhpeeth, located on top of the Shivalik Hills, the southernmost mountain chain of the Himalayas.

     

    The temple is also known as Bilwa Tirth is one of the Panch Tirth (Five Pilgrimages) within Haridwar. It can be reached through a quick flight in the Udan Khatola enjoying the breathtaking views of Haridwar and river Ganga. The ropeway connects to Famous Sidthpeeth of Maa Mansa Devi. Goddess originated from the mind of Rishi Kashyap.

     

    The ropeway is operational since 1981 has allowed seeking blessing from Mansa Devi to many. It is providing extreme convenience to specially-abled and elderly devotees. Otherwise, there is a 3 Km trek to cover the distance. The ropeway is the preferred choice to reach the temple and has become a major tourist attraction in the region.

     

    You can enjoy breathtaking views and the adventure it entails. The cabins are colourful and provide a bird’s eye view of the entire town along with the meandering Ganges.
